My uncle paid cash for gold
As my brother had birthday yesterday, family members from all over the country came to our house to celebrate it. It was his 18th birthday. One of the guests was my favorite uncle. I remember all those stories that he told me when I was just a kid. They are one of my best memories up to present. As we were siting and talking on many interesting subjects (and of course eating birthday cake) someone brought up the subject of getting cash for gold. My family was always up to date with the economy as most of our members had something to do with it during their lives. My grandfather for example was writing articles to one of the biggest newspapers about economy. When my uncle heard the word gold he decided to tell us a story that happened when he was quite young. He was walking down one of the streets in New York when he saw something shining next to the trash bin. He looked more closely at it and it occurred to be a gold bar. He had no idea how did it get there. Maybe someone through it our from one of the windows located over the bin. He picked it up and went to the nearest goldsmith where he received cash for gold. For the money he got he bought his first car. It was very old and worked only for a month. Everybody was laughing along with my uncle as this story was really entertaining.
